Do you have what it takes?

5+ years in a marketing role, ideally in CPG, entertainment, or technology marketing; agency experience a plus

Strong analytical skills and record of identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities to drive brand growth and health

Effective collaborator and negotiator who is passionate about building relationships across functions and business units in a matrixed organization. Appreciates strength in working with people from diverse backgrounds.

Experience building strong retail partner relationships and leading marketing programs to create joint commercial value with major retailers.

Proven success in driving meaningful innovation. Consistently seeks new ideas and new approaches, not shying away to take educated risks.

Demonstration of strong media skills, including digital marketing, understanding of all major channels, critical metric setting, and measurement

Ability to deliver multiple priorities simultaneously at scale with speed and on budget

Outstanding presentation and writing skills with the ability to convey a compelling and concise message, and to engage and inspire colleagues

High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, in order to drive quality business analyses and communication. IT literate.

Advanced-level English

Domestic travel required

Proven experience in successfully marketing to parents, caregivers, and shoppers of preschool-aged children preferred

Previous experience in effectively marketing to multicultural or underserved audiences is desired

Additional experience in digital marketing, trade marketing, public relations, or key account management, a plus!

Additional details on this position

The salary for this position has a range of $97,400 - $146,200 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.

This position will initially be based at 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston Street by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.

Core Responsibilities



Franchise/Brand Marketing Planning, Implementation, & Project Management (60%)



In partnership with US Brand colleagues, manage internal and external agencies partners to deliver localized, integrated plans for audience and franchise marketing that drive brand equity, build active share (penetration), re-activation (repeat purchase), and frequency for the LEGO® Group



Contribute to the annual U.S. marketing objective-setting process and target audience communications planning to ensure the efficient and effective execution of marketing plans for LEGO® franchises.



Collaborate with other marketing teams to optimize platform integration, agency relationships, and performance frameworks, ensuring alignment of activation plans with overall media and brand strategies



Foster strong relationships with internal teams to deliver integrated activation plans across channels and platforms



Manage partnership (agencies, IP, and vendor) relationships as designated brand responsibilities require



Business Management (40%)



Manage budgets and financials related to marketing campaigns and overall business health, inclusive of product portfolio



Constant analysis and assessment of brand and campaign performance, enabling the initiation of corrective actions as needed; provide findings and input to the integrated marketing teams for future program development



Establish retailer strategies in conjunction with the sales/customer teams and provide support for customer sell-in of product lines and critical marketing programs



Work closely with the customer, trade marketing, and eCommerce teams to build coherent shopper activation plans and consumer insights to drive performance

The U.S. Marketing department is responsible for crafting and fostering consumer demand by converting consumer, shopper, and market insights into compelling, creative, and innovative marketing programs that remain grounded in a strong commercial understanding and focus.



As a Brand Manager on the U.S. Brand Management team, this individual will lead audience-focused efforts on activation, measurement, and evaluation of the U.S. business unit's annual audience marketing programs and campaigns, driving both brand equity and sales growth.
